Give that puppy a heavily streaked rosewood board and birdseye neck and schwing! :)
  6. i really really love that neck
i like maple alot and its a minor detail but i love how sadowsky necks are squared off at the last fret, unlike fenders rounded ones.

That's funny... that's the first thing I noticed about the neck, and the only thing I don't like about this bass. Guess I prefer the old Fender style this time. Great bass though!

Man that is one sweet looking bass. How much would one of those sexy beasts go for?

That is a pretty bass. I love looking at the Sadowsky site. I haven't seen one yet that wasn't visually stunning.

I'm completely happy with my Lull, but I've learned never to say never! :D When I take my family to Disneyland this summer I'm hoping to check out a Metro dealer. Maybe I'll sell off a few of my 4-stringers that just gather dust for "pocket cash" just in case. I expect to be blown away by them.

That's right.. There's no reason you can't like steak and cheese cake!!

As for this bass; Homina - Homina - Homina!!!!

Personally, I'd love to have one of these:

+1 that's why I ordered my Sadowsky with 20 frets and the rounded end. I don't play up there anyway.

+1 A fretless one of those would fit nicely.

Do any of you all know about alder/maple NYC's? I see ash/morado and ash/rosewood all the time on the In-Stock page but never any alder body/maple board basses. For me, this is one of the sweetest wood combos around. I'm actually considering contacting Roger to have him swap the ash body on my Metro for a heavy alder one, but it seems like it would cost a lot. Only one way to find out, I suppose. . .
