Has anyone tried the combination of Sadowsky Pickups and Preamp in a Warwick Thumb?

I have a 4 string bolt on Thumb and I'm not unhappy with the sound however I've always wondered how the Sadowsky setup would sound in my Thumb.
  2. If it ain't broke don't fix it. If you like the current tone you are getting now then don't change a thing about it. IMO all the parts of a Thumb, including the stock MEC electronics, contribute to it's notorious sound, and I wouldn't change a single thing about any one of them.

Yeah, unless you have something specific you're looking to change I wouldn't change for the sake of it.

I had to replace my MEC's when they died, I tried a bunch of pickups before deciding on EMG J's. They were the ones that gave the classic Thumb sound IMO
