I bought it today and it is going out tomorrow morning. :hyper: It is heading to Rogers shop for a check up and setup from the neck up. Then it will be shipped to me.

Can hardly wait. ONLY 8.5 lbs. Chambered body! YES! :hyper:

Thanks for all your input. Hopefully I will love this bad boy! :bassist:

    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
Welcome to the club. You'll find that the only thing nicer than a Sadowsky is two of 'em - or maybe three :p

I'm always interested to hear what a player has to say when they try a Sadowsky in a live band setting for the first time. That's where the magic and the mystique surrounding this make comes from. Enjoy !

Two or three? Definitely. I plan on three in the next 10 - 12 months and one EVERY year after that (up to a reasonable point). :eyebrow:

It was a custom color called Dark Red Burgendy. It is a littel transparent. You can see the wood a little. Adds some depth. If I keep her then I will probably add either a Cream or White Pearloid pickguard to give it some zing!

I am guessing this might be the only Sadowsky with this color.

Cool. In one of your other "Sadowsky" threads I asked you what you thought of a P/J setup, but you never replied back! :eyebrow:

I guess that answers my question. :)

I'm about 98% sure you'll love it. I haven't had the pleasure of trying out a Sadowsky; they're impossible to audition here in Podunk, but I have a Warmoth with a P/J setup that I played for years and years that sounds killer.

    Congrats!

Wonderful! Congrats. If I ordered a Sad, it would be just like that...but four strings, I think, and a different colour - not because I dislike it, though, just a fan of Olympic white!

I'm too envious to speak! Enjoy your new toy :D

And could you explain the benefits of the switched P pup please? I've never read about how it's different. Cheers!
