Thought this might go in either basses or effects... Mods, if you want to move it, feel free!

Found a really interesting ebay auction... click here for the details. It says that the Sadowsky preamp was designed by aguilar, and then I noticed that the old Sadowsky preamp bears a striking resemblence to the Aguilar DB 924. Here is the Aguilar...

    And here is the Sadowsky...

The Sadowsky preamp was desinged by Aguilar, I think they where also built by Aguilar, but I'm not that sure about it. They where in the same building back then.

    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
The old belt-clip Sadowsky pre was built by Fishman to Sadowsky specs. The Fishman DB pre was almost identical from the outside a few years ago. Fishman's design has since changed.

  4. Aguilar used to work for Roger and they designed the original outboard Pre together... after much trial and tribulation...the Sadowsky pre was born...Later Aguilar moved on and with the help of an invester/partner founded what is now Aguilar Amplification...
