I've search the forum but couldn't find it.

Does the volume in passive mode matches the active mode with the eq flat or is there a jump between them?

Are the Metros available in fretless with lines?

    TIA

Yes, the output when active is a good deal hotter than when it's passive.

I'm not sure about the fretless option for metros though.

On my Vintage 5, the active mode with the EQ flat is just a little bit louder than the passive mode, nothing dramatic.

It's the same with my PJ5. However, if you start using the preamp that all goes out the window. I've never tried it but I wouldn't be surprised if that preamp had enough cajones to drive a power amp directly. It's that strong.

  8. As Rob (bikeplate) pointed out on another thread, Sadowsky eq is very powerful and small doeses go a long way. I'm glad he stated that as I'm using less and turning up my amp with great results.
