I've had multiple RV5s and an alder/morado NYC PJ5. This is the best of all of those. The most even and the best tone. A great sadowsky 5, I'm simply not playing that much 5 string anymore, and prefer my ash/maple sadowsky 4.

The bass has a good bit of wear but nothing serious. The worst is cracked finish under the volume pot from when I tried out a 500k pot and did a bad job drilling. The pot has been reverted to stock volume pot, sounds better this way to me.

The bass has a couple of mods:
    1. Reversed Blend Pot
    2. Black badass V bridge
    3. Black USA hipshot ultralights (a huge upgrade from the imports IMO)

Strung with fairly fresh sadowsky blue steels 45-130T, ships in the original ultralight case.

Given the wear and mods, I think its fairly priced at $1500 shipped to the lower 48.

Wouldn't this be considered an RS-5?

That's right, it's an RS5, which is how it's listed.

I mentioned the RV5s because they are effectively the same thing.
