SOLD Sadowsky SBP-1 preamp owned by Lee Sklar

This is a unique pedal. I bought this off of Lee Sklar's recent reverb sale. The pedal has some unique characteristics: it imparts a thicker, slightly compressed sound with a tiny bit of "wool" on it if you push the input, especially via the XLR out. It sounds really good, but I was looking for something super clean. Today I called Sadowsky and spoke to Roger himself about the pedal's sound--he told me he gave the pedal to Lee about 25 years ago and they've changed the circuit design since then to be more sparkly clean, which is what they currently use. Lee's pedal has the older circuit design, which has those characteristics.

So this is a sort of unique pedal. Owned by one of the most famous/prolific bassists in the business, and it has a definite characteristic sound to it. The low end is super punchy and powerful, the mids are thicker and you can get bit of wool on them, and the high end is sweet and clear. I'm just selling it for what I have in it--actually a little less once you factor in shipping/etc--and hopefully it's what someone is looking for.
