Word on the 'net is the Sadowsky Tokyo line is awesome. Some have even preferred them to the NYC line.

 

i already mentioned my love in the other "Sadowsky" thread, but i'll gush s'more here, too.

i was really surprised at these basses! when i was at Roger's shop, i have to admit, i didnt give 'em two thoughts. i only picked one up, cause i was waiting for another bass to be shown to me.

but WOW, the feel was really nice, and tho, they're single coil, the pickups had a nice punchie bark, and sweet slightly rolled back high slap tone.

i've tried most of the other jazz style 5 strings in its price range, and IMHO, it literally is the next best thing to a ferreals Sadowsky!
