Although I'd never own one, they are some of the prettiest basses out there.

Roger's site is top of the heap. His basses are even better. I check out the site almost every day!!

  4. Wow, the models appearing with the guitars on the Steve Stevens site are lookers. I'm glad they weren't displaying basses, or it would have been all over. :)

There actually is one shot of a P-bass ... if you sit there long enough ... (torture, i know!) ... you'll see it ...

i especially like the soundtrack that, quite frankly, reminds me of the music in a porno movie! :D

Roger's site is very bad for mr. wallet. already waiting on two basses, and i nearly sprang for that sweet sherwood green vintage 5! but i kept telling myself i have to pay the rent. ;)

btw, did anyone else notice that in the course of a few days last week, 4 basses were sold!

    talk about turnover...

Roger's web site is great to visit because he always shines it up and refreshes it, I too can't help but visit this site at least one time every day. I've even used it as my start page!!!;)

  8. I only visit the site when my will gives in. I would very much like to own one some day, but right now the cash ain't flowing......:(

Some day though, there is a possibility....
  9. Just to add a little pain...
    Isn't she sweet? :smug:

  11. I saw that and almost flew to Brooklyn to give Roger a piece of my mind...the last piece of course.

Nino, next time you see a puppy like that, give me a heads up. I would have sold one of my kidney's on ebay to score that gem!

Heck, I might mandate my girlfriend turn tricks at the shop to....ah, I'm outta line here.

Roger's website keeps getting better and better!

Nino> that's exactly what I was thinking when I saw this guitars! What is this color called? Why isn't it available on basses?

JimS> who is this Steve Steven guy?
  13. Steve Stevens made his name as the ace flash guitarist for Billy Idol. A truly wonderful guitar player with the right amount of flash, taste, speed, and restraint. Great songwriting skills too. I love his solo on "Blue Highway" off REBEL YELL.
  14. Now that's a quilted top! Wow!

Also, check out the two Bozzio/Levin/Stevens albums. Great mix of styles by three extremely gifted musicians. The summum of the power trio! :bassist:
  15. It's called TIGERS EYE finish.

I just got a Gibson Les Paul Boneyard model which is finish in what Gibson calls Aged Tigers Eye or Faded Tigers Eye. Dumb modifiers. Anway...

And now back to your regularly scheduled Sadowsky programming.
