I like it, but I think the one thing I would have changed is that I would have used a P style pickup cover since it is wider, and could have covered the front J pickup while still leaving the top edge of the pickup cover close to the normal J position.

But, heck--I'm not going to argue with Roger and Will. :D

obviously this is not gonna be Will Lee's main bass... i'm thinking it's gonna be lacking in big thumping lows?

    visually stunning though...

Hey man, do you have a COLOR picture? Oh, wait...;)

The Will Lee Frankenbass--just in time for Halloween. :)

Icky P body, jacked pups...I dunno, man. I love Uncle Will, but it looks like one of his basses mated with one of Jason Newstead's. Neat-o pickguard though.

beatiful bass, love to hear it, maybe it will show up in Letterman at some point...seems heavier than other sadowsky's, can't see why Will would use the single coils instead of the humcancelling, but that's just me...

I like it a lot. That pickguard looks amazing, and the pup cover give a very vintage vibe (I´m talking like the guy at BassPalace ;) )

    Hey, is that a D-tuner that I see???????

that's a really interesting take... a thumb meets a sadowsky!

i would have loved even more with a P style pickup hidden behind the chrome PU cover...

Not my thing at ALL. I've never been a fan of the P/Tele body style, and the pickup and cover placement only make it worse.

Not really my cup of tea but I am curious as to how it sounds. Got any clips?

Yes! This would seem to have made it a more complete (tonal) package.

Odd that this would be Will's choice though, considering you see him play more "Jazz" style Sadowskys than any others.

I think it'd look cool with a matching headstock, and the Sadowsky logo in white lettering.

IMO that's absolutely gorgeous! My second favorite Sadowsky next to #3710! I love P-basses, and if it only had a P/J instead of a J/J!

Oh, and the pickup isn't under the cover :p

    Very interesting, and cool looking.

I was so shocked and surprised by the pick up configuration that I almost didn't realize that the body shape is a P bass. I'm sooo used to seeing Will behind a Jazz, although I know he plays other basses.
