  1. I am thinking about getting a Sadowsky Metro,I was wondering if the maple fingerboard ones are very bright and if the rosewood fingerboard ones are too deep? Do they all come with the vintage control? Are the vintage rosewood fingerboard ones good for slapping?

The VTC (vintage tone control is an 150 option) and worth every penny! The Rosewood's slap just fine, but the Maples deffinently get that Marcus thing. I've got an RV5 Rosewood/Alder and if I could only have one bass this would be it, haveing said that I WANT A MAPLE/ASH TOO!!. It's called GAS a infliction that effects every Sadowsky owner.
