    Wow! I just saw the new sadowsky vintage 70's ash or what ever (maple?) bass played by the litttle teenage girl at cross roads with jeff beck. She had the most incredible sound, which kicked my fender jazz anniversary's ass. Love that thing. Search her solo on youtube. Anyway, do you guys know of any pre amps, amps cabs or basses that are similiar to that sadowsky beut, but don't cost $2250?

    Yes, used Sadowsky cost less than that..

    Or you can get the outboard Sadowsky DI/Pre which can bring your Fender Jazz very close to what you've heard.

    And Tal is not a teen. She is 9 1/2. Fairly good chops for her age IMO.

    Saw her on 'crossroads' finally, and she blew me away with the tone and the playing. . . . she had fantastic sound on that show. that is what I imagine a bass should sound like.
