Sadowsly Pre in a fender battery box or not??

    lads one quick Question

    im fitting a sadowsky pre to a fender jazz gonna drill out a side input and all so using the 4 holes on the control plate for my pre.. i know under my J retro my 9v will fit under the plate! can the same be said for the sadowsky pre or will i have to route out a battery box too?? regards :bassist:

    All I can say that it will be a very tight fit. Normally Sadowsky pre itself is quite small (but larger than Aguilar), but there are a lot of wires you'll have to deal with.

    With careful planning and if you're very good working in tight spaces, it "might" fit. But don't take my word for it.

    A bit tight but I have one that fits my Fender Jazz.

    It can fit. I've done it a couple of times but it is a tight fit. I would recommend using an external battery box.

    the j RETRO is a tight fit on my jazz i find!! spellcaster thats a sweet bass!! cheers Nino i think ill go with that!
