    Does anyone know where the bassline for The Humpty Dance was sampled from?

    I did but it didn't say where the bassline came from and I don't have all the songs to hear them.

    I don't believe it was sampled. It sounds like a Moog (or some synth) being played and the modulation wheel being set to 'octave' and moved up and down. I've never heard any other song with that same bassline!

    Will Smith used a combination of that bassline and the bassline to an old Stevie Wonder tune (I Wish) on 'Wild Wild West'.
