    Hey all -

My quintet, Eat The Sun, will be playing at Luna ( www.lunalive.com ) on July 7th. If you're in San Antonio, and want to see a great band (with the obvious exception of the bass player ), come on out! I'd love to meet some of you. The group is modern post-bop, originals and 'tunes that nobody else plays' and some standards thrown in for good measure.

Hope to see some of you!

9 PM, David. Come on out! stay for a set, say hi. (as a Dad and a guy with a day gig, I understand the whole "school night" thing...)

The Air Force band I'm in will be doing a show in New Braunfels on the 8th, too. Big band jazz.

Oh, and I'm working at Woodlawn lake with the Air Force on the 4th, too! (wow, a 4th of July gig for a military band? who'dve guessed?) Right before the fireworks...

Pac, i have a coworker heading down in July, if you have a gig
schedule later in the month, please email me, or tell
that fat little guy with the goatee you know, know, you know? The left handed Latin Lover Bass hack. (Awkward phrase, that ...)

My man is in for the miltary food show at the Gonzales Center,
as we happen to be one of those military food vendors now...

Hey, don't blame me, we are just getting started.

But I would like to hook him up if their is some good action ..

    Thor

or buzz NJL, he has my email and 800 number ...

That was sort of our point... it seems everyone is reading tunes out of the real book (the same tunes) and lots of people are missing some VERY good music. We did a bunch of classic jazz tunes, just ones that nobody plays. If you're interested, I'll hook you up with a set list....
