    Hello,

My brother got a job with Apple and say he is having trouble (or at least complaining) he can't find a decent apartment to rent for less than $2000-2500. Is he being picky or is this true? Suggestion on good value areas/communities to scope out in the area?

    Thanks,

    RS

I never actually learned to play very well
  3. Out here, I would consider $2k/month towards the low end, not in a decent neighborhood. Housing out here is almost as bad as NYC, but you also have to get a car here.

That's Cupertino for ya. Hi rent and housing. My advise move farther away and commute on the Apple shuttle-busses.

Yes, that is reasonable, though if he is looking for 1 bedroom, he might be able to find something in the $1700ish range if he doesn't need a garage.

He might have a bit better luck looking in Sunnyvale.
