I had a look at what is a Sandberg Basic (single active musicman type pickup). It played very very well. After checking out the Sandberg website it looks like the pickup was different to the one i played in the shop. It didnt have 'Delano' on it. Was the one in the shop a budget bass with a cheeper pickup? Thanks jazzbasser - nice bass!

    Look's great.
Here's mine Sandberg California JM. Great Bass. Sounds really strong or vintage like a jazz bass.
