For sale only. No trades please since I need to thin the herd. $1800 Shipped Continental US only.

This is a limited edition Sandberg California TM4 Grand Dark in orange which is one of 40 made.

    Fingerboard: 22 frets, pau ferro
    Scale: 35”
    Body: European alder
    Finish: Orange high gloss
    Hardware: Sandberg, black
Pickups: Sandberg PLUS TM-set with coil tap switch for the bridge pickup
Preamp: Darkglass Tone Capsule 3-band EQ, active/passive
    Nut width: 1.5"
Weight: 9.2 pounds on the bathroom scale
Comes with a Sandberg gig bag
Currently tuned to D standard but that can easily be changed **I just put new DR Hi Beams on it and tuned it back the E standard.

I know some compare the looks to a Dingwall but I own both and they are completely different basses. It's a fantastic bass but sadly i don't play it much since I have so many and have 3 other Sandberg basses.

Beautiful! Yours is light too, my black grand dark comes in at 10.2lbs!

  3. Wow, that is a big difference in weight. I must have gotten lucky and they used a lighter piece of alder for this one.

Yea I checked other listings seems average is 9-9.5 so you got a really good one.
  5. Nice bass I've got one in blue. Did I sell you a blue Spector at some point?

  7. I'm glad you pointed this out to me since i was wondering if my scale was acting strange. I re-weighed it and it is 9.2 pounds so I adjusted the post. I am glad you brought it up or i would have never knew the weight was off and I want to make I give accurate information so thank you :). Time for a new bathroom scale it seems since it was just not consistent at all.

I posted this guy on Facebook a few years ago when it came out as 'all I want for Christmas'. May have to hurt myself here. :D

I got to play this bass over the Summer when John and I got to hang out. Fantastic bass. Super fast neck and a lot of nice tones.
