Price reduced, this will be my last price drop on this bass

Reluctantly selling me Sandberg TM-5, bought new in 2018, to finance another purchase. Bass is in excellent condition but has been used. There are some typical finish swirls, light surface scratches, and a tiny almost invisible dent on the back (photo added). Bass sounds and plays amazing.

    -Alder body
    -Maple neck and fretboard.
    -Weight is 8.5 pounds
    -34" scale
-Delano pickups and Sandberg 2-band preamp designed by Glockenklang with push/pull pot for passive/active mode.
-Humbucker can be split to Single coil mode.

Price is firm and includes shipping to the lower 48. Bass will ship with Original gig bag. No trades please.

Beautiful bass! Can you describe the pickups and preamp?

  4. I look at this every day and get more interested. What is the neck like and the voicing? Is it more like a stingray 5 hs, lakland skyline 55-02, Mercalli 5, or none of the above?

The neck has a thin satin finish and is a dream to play. I also have a Fender American Deluxe V and the overall neck dimensions are comparable, maybe the Sandberg is a tiny bit rounder in the back. String spacing at the bridge is adjustable between 18 and 19 mm. I don't know the Mercalli 5 but I wouldn't say it's like a Lakland or Musicman. The Humbucker is closer to the bridge than a Musicman, so you won't get that Stingray tone. It's more like a Jazz Bass on Steroids. You can get a very nice and clean Jazz bass sound in single coil mode, the humbucker can add quit some grit and punch. The bass sits great in the mix and can sound both traditional and modern. I really didn't want to sell it, but I took on a trade in another sale and now feel that I have to :).
