    Hey Guys,
Just received my online VM4 Sandberg bass order in blueburst and it looks like the TM4. I'm trying to justify with store the grain and colour are a different blue. I'll never buy a bass online ever Again. Store is saying that's the VM4 colour. Please see pics
First pic is what I received
2nd Pic is the one I wanted
    3rd is the TM4

The pro shot picture were taken under 1000watts of studio lighting. They are the same color. Re: the grain- The tree owes you an apology.

Thanks Paulabass for reply, that's what they said the lighting in pic. But damn the vm4 pic looks so much better than mine.

I merely have a Sandberg Electra TT in the tobacco burst finish - basswood body.

If it's any consolation for you, the VM that you received is making my pants tight!!:drool::drool:

  5. There is unrest in the forest, there is trouble with the trees....

Thats the thing when you buy an open pore wood finish. Some are hot prom dates and some...

It will still be a great bass.

Colour looks pretty close, why no fret markers though?

Liked the wood grain how it's straight lines on advertised vm4 , but I've looked on line at other pics like mine and looks like mine not the advertised one. Also no dots is pissing me off Lol.

  10. Re the no dots. You can buy stick on dots from ebay for a few quid and they look like the real thing. The dots are usually a £60 surcharge with Sandberg.

Wait, you bought it NEW from a Sandberg dealer and the picture had fret markers and the one you received did not? Were you under the impression that the photo was the exact bass you were supposed to get? If that's the case I would send it back unless you've found that you still love it.

Was this a custom order or one that they already had in stock? If it's a custom order then it sounds like maybe someone (you or the dealer) didn't specify exactly what you were hoping to get... did you send them the generated code from the configurator?

    Hey man,
Didn't really care about the dots, just the finish mainly. Why don't they just replace the one they have advertised in photo and change it to mine. All Google pics I've searched VM4 looks 95% like mine. The one they have is a diffent shade of blue and wood finish. Like I said I will never order a bass online ever Again. Rather buy off the shelf in store like overdone in past but this covid f#@#!*en lock down forced me to buy online. Anyways I'm enjoying the bass don't care anymore about it. Waited 2 months and enjoying it.

Just lighting and pro photo editing .....

I think your bass is gorgeous...honestly.... I know I’d be ecstatic about it. But it’s a bummer that you aren’t ...
