sans amp

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Wedding Dress, Oct 21, 2003.

  1. If I got the sans amp for bass (the pedal one, not the rack one) would that make a wide variety on how i could get my amp to sound?

Yep. The underlying "sans amp" color would remain though.

With "blend" full on, it fills your tone with quite the amount of depth. Then each control is powerful enough to make a difference on its own. So all the EQ combinations allow you a wide variety of tones, while the SansAmp acts as basically a preamp. A very noiseless one at that. (At equal volume, my rig is less noisy with it on.)

The "Blend" control is pretty good at letting you mix in wet and dry signals to your liking too.

If you're thinking of something similar to a multieffect, like a Digitech ----- No.
