Just a simple qustion really. Should I plug my bass into my Sansamp BDDI pedal, and then into the input of my GK R1001 head, or should I plug the sansamp into my effects return? It sounds different, but good, in either. If I use it in the return, then I have to pass it through my boss tuner pedal before the return input so I can tune while muted. Not using the main input bypasses the tuner out. If I use my pedal board, I would run the tuner in line with the Sansamp anyhow.
    Thanks,
    Wes

Mine goes in between my bass and amp's main input, as do all my pedals. No fx loops for me, I prefer my FX get sent to the PA..

Sounds good. I will keep it the way I had it. I have just been reading that in order to get the sound of that preamp as it was intended, you need to make sure your head isn't changing the sound quality with it's own voicing characteristics.
    Thanks,
