I have had this for awhile and just started playing with it. I use a power supply and it has a lot of hum. Anybody else experience this?

  3. What power supply are you using?? If you use a low quality one hum can be a problem.

I usually have the drive set at about 2-3 o'clock. The PRESENCE knob is usually the noise culprit. Try going to a maximum of 2 o'clock. And keep the Treble at a Maximum of noon. Those are my settings and my noise to awsomeness ratio is just about right.

I'm using a "one spot". It doesn't make my guitar pedalboard noisy, so I don't think that's it. I'll try to adjust it out. I use the "SVT" setting out of the manual, and really like the sound, there's just a lot of hum.

sounds like a pedal in your chain might be causing it.

go through your effects taking one out at a time and see if the problem goes. if you idenify a pedal thats causing it; you might need to get a seperate power supply for said pedal.

  7. +1 the sansamp itself can amplify any him that is there anyway. Try the sansamp on it's own.
