I don't know about the Sadowsky but the Sansamp BDDI will.

  3. They are two completely different pre's. The Sans amp is more SVT'ish and the Sadowsky is cleaner and Marcus Miller'ish. The Sadowsky will get you closer to the MM sound than the Sans Amp Bass Driver. By the way, I own both units.

Dude, lay off the distortion and turn the blend up all the way.

I never had any problems getting that tone.

    What bass are you using?

I have both units too.......if I had to use one for the Marcus tone, it would be the Sadowsky.

I had both at the same time once, and the Sadowski definitely does the MM thing better, but the Sansamp seems to be more versitile, and can do the MM thing well enough.
