I am getting a GBE 1200...... but I want to be able to have different presets at my feet for diff parts mid song and different tones.

My Q is........do many people use the sansamp BDDI WITH a head? or does most just use it as their head for the D.I into the PA......

im still confused as I dont know how people are usign them as their preamp or as a pedal.
    :help:

  2. Many people do use a Sansamp BDDI with a head. It should work fine.

I've seen people use Sansamp either before the head, or run through the effects loop. Either one works, since the GBE has a footswitchable loop (I think) the second option might give you more choices "at your feet": FET channel, Valve Channel, Sansamp, each with seperate EQ. You probably would never need to touch the 3 "voicing" switches on pedal.
