    Okay here is my deal.

I really don't need a DI, but I like the the Tech21's tube amp simulation. My question is could the Sansamp Classic or the GT2 achieve the some sounds as the BDDI or are we talking apples and orenges?

    Peace!

The "Classic" has been used by bass players for recording before the BDDI was invented. I have used the "Classic" for guitar, but sold it before I ever owned a bass. I have no experience with the GT2.

Out of the three choices you listed, if you want something for bass, go with the BDDI. It's made for bass, and it's less $ than the "Classic". (and easier to use, too.)
