Ok, i was wondering if the sansamp DI is really worth the money in the long run, i know its not like a distortion pedal that i wouldent even use half the time, but 180 some odd dollers is alot of cash to spend for me. is it worth that money? i already have a XLR out on my head, so the DI part is not REALLY importent, im sure it would be better though. It says it makes crap sound good, that would be nice, considering i have a CRATE BT-350. its alright, just not great....but anyway, thoughts of those who own or have played around with the pedals comments are welcome, very welcome.

  2. In a word: Yes. To me it's worth every penny. Do a search on sansamp and you'll get tons of info.

I know that i should seach, belive me, thats the first thing i do, i allready asked the that qustion a while ago, my qustion was is it WORTH THE MONEY, not if i should get one.

  4. what on earth are you talking about? those two questions are, operationally, EXACTLY THE SAME. do you think we'll tell you that you should get one, but it's not worth the money? or that you shouldn't get one, but it IS worth the money? think, mcfly, think.

Uhhhh, thats gotta be the stupidist thing ive ever heard. your telling me that something that is good is worth the money atuomaticly? i dont think so, good friend and brother.

  6. no, the question in question (ahem) was "should you get it" not "is it good."

  7. This is quite a philosophical thread :D

I would say no it isn't worth the money but nothing is thats how people stay in business. But everyone that owns one seems to love them.

Perhaps I could short-circuit the impending arguments and say - yes, it is worth the money and yes, it is a good piece of equipment to have. Especially if you own "lesser" amps. If you have great sounding amps, using the SansAmp would be overkill.

Apparently, some of the hosers on this forum have been snickering behind my back about my devotion to Eden products and the SABDDI. Nonetheless, I will still expose myself to further ridicule and tell you that the SABDDI is a quintessential element of the serious bass player's tool kit. Get one, soon.

If my choices are 'yes' and 'no' I choose yes.

  13. I've got your back munji... hey, if they talk crap about us, who cares... our amps are better than theirs ;)

About the SABDDI, its like the "ultimate swiss army Knife" for bass. Its got everything you'd ever want. You need DI box, there you go. you need a distortion box, There you go. You need a pre-amp, there you go. Its got EVERYTHING.
