SansAmp PSA-1 and headphones?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Phyrexian, Jun 2, 2003.

  1. Hi there,

I have the Tech 21 SansAmp PSA-1 preamp. At home I hook it up with my Valvestate VS65R combo (preamp output to valvestate fx-loop's return). It sounds okay in my room. Nothing more (at least it sounds way better than the valvestate! ;) )

Anyways, the Valvestate has a headphones jack but it sounds like **** when I plug in my good Sennheiser headphones.

Now, how could I get a good sound with headphones and the PSA-1?
    Are there cheap solutions?

I know I can put the headphones into the output of the preamp; but that way its a mono-sound I get and that ain't very usable.

    thanks in advance,

  2. Anyone?
