I've always been itching to try this, so I went to MF and finally got it. (I would advantage of their return policy if it didn't work...)

All I have to say is: IT ROCKS! It does what my POD does but cheaper (since I only really use two models on that anyway, the Ampeg SVT and the Mesa/Boogie 400+)

And it also works well as an overdrive pedal AND a mute pedal..

Yeah, I think I'm sending my Bass POD to Ebay this summer.. :)

One question, the Sansamp circuitry does compression due to its emulation circuitry right?

Thanks for the review. This is a pedal I'm interested in.

As far as compression, I think the Sansamp people say that their pedals (particularly Sansamps) do add a bit of compression, but they're not intended to take the place of a dedicated compressor. I think I read on the site that some users feel that they don't need a compressor when the use the Sansamp, but it's not as if they have a built-in compressor or something like that.

Would you have any sample/clips of the pedal in use?

If you go to the bottom of this page (http://www.tech21nyc.com/TRI-AC.html ) there's an mp3 to download with samples.
