I love this thing.
Very nice. Im a big fan of honeyburst with a black pickguard.
And that's the last one you'll ever buy - right?
Very nice! I love MM basses with a singlecoil on them, and I'm often drawn to wishing MM would make a bass with two singlecoil pickups!
Nice bass.... Beautiful home!
Ha ha ha, YUP! You caught me!
There's one in the classifieds right now:
Nice bass, GassieBall. I hadn't realized Santa was so small.
Santa's a heck of a guy!
Ooph. That thing still. That bass has caused more controversy and confusion than it is worth, hah. All HS basses have a second single coil under the pickguard, even this one that he just bought. What the guy did there was make a new pickguard and raise the other pickup up. He then rewired it to actually make the pickup function in different positions, rather than acting as a hum canceling coil, like it is intended.
Yeah, I just watched the video after I posted. D'oh!
Very cool, though I was looking more towards a bass without the bridge humbucker. Still, that is an interesting beast!
EB made a prototype bass with three single coils (SSS) , it was pink. Funny looking
That's a big house ya got there.
Santa is still on your front porch!!
Sweet! I'm of the opinion that a Sterling is one of the best four stringers you can find. If you want a real taste treat, string it with some heavy flats!
I use EB hybrid slinkies as my string of choice on my sterling. They are perfect for me.
