Santa came early with a new Sterling!

    Very nice. Im a big fan of honeyburst with a black pickguard.

    Very nice! I love MM basses with a singlecoil on them, and I'm often drawn to wishing MM would make a bass with two singlecoil pickups!

    Ooph. That thing still. That bass has caused more controversy and confusion than it is worth, hah. All HS basses have a second single coil under the pickguard, even this one that he just bought. What the guy did there was make a new pickguard and raise the other pickup up. He then rewired it to actually make the pickup function in different positions, rather than acting as a hum canceling coil, like it is intended.

    Very cool, though I was looking more towards a bass without the bridge humbucker. Still, that is an interesting beast!

    EB made a prototype bass with three single coils (SSS) , it was pink. Funny looking :p

    Sweet! I'm of the opinion that a Sterling is one of the best four stringers you can find. If you want a real taste treat, string it with some heavy flats!

    I use EB hybrid slinkies as my string of choice on my sterling. They are perfect for me. :)
