Satin or poly finish for outdoor high humidity gigs?

I have an outdoor gig in South Carolina tomorrow night and it’ll be very high humidity around gig time. Trying to decide which bass to bring and I’m thinking I’d rather take a bass with a poly finish as opposed to a bass with a satin or oil finish. I’m sure there would probably be no damage either way but I’m just curious if anyone agrees that they prefer not to take a satin or oil finished bass outdoors in the humidity. Is the satin finished bass just as protected from the elements as a poly finished bass?
