    I'm pretty sure that's not a boost pedal, it's a volume pedal. It will only cut your volume. Though I guess it could act like a boost when you shut it off.

    But in general folks seem to like Saturnworks stuff.

    Yeah, that is a volume pedal. The only thing you will get that is close to being a passive boost is the Cave Passive pedals. You could get a minor amount of cleanish boost out of a Grunt pedal. However, you will need either a good buffered signal, an active bass, or a very short cable.

    well.. that was very educational to me. i just assumed volume= boost. thankyou very much for pointing out the obvious, very much appreciated.
