Saw the Chili Peppers at the Boston Garden tonight. Great show, those guys still have so much energy and Flea is still as crazy as always!! Well worth the late night!
Premier Guitar put up this video yesterday, running through the equipment both Flea and Klinghoffer are using on the current tour. It was interesting to hear that he recorded their latest album with the vintage Jazz that inspired his current Fender signature bass but is using a very different 22 fret, single pickup, active custom shop model live. Flea's gear starts at 30:46.
A little bit of everything. A good mix of songs I thought. Setlist Intro Jam Around the World Otherside Snow ((Hey Oh)) Dark Necessities The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie Right on Time Go Robot Wet Sand Sick Love Sir Psycho Sexy They're Red Hot (Robert Johnson cover Higher Ground (Stevie Wonder cover) Dreams of a Samurai That's When I Reach for My Revolver (Mission of Burma cover) (Josh solo) Soul to Squeeze By the Way Encore: Goodbye Angels Give It Away
Lol! "Flea is using 30 basses on this tour...none of them have anything in common with his signature model or any other Jazz bass for that matter"
