    Hello everyone,

Its been a long time since my last post. But...I just got a brand new friend. I upgraded my very nice laminated 1/2 size German Meisel to a fully carved Hungarian bass! :D Ahhhh! I also upgraded my Brazilwood bow to a carbon fiber bow :D . It still has that new sound, but I can't wait for it to start opening up. I'm very happy!! Here are a few pics!

Yes, its brand new. The lable says "Benedek Elemer". I believe its an un-named Hugarian. I'd like to find out more about its origin. I just got it yesterday, in Los Angeles at Stein on Vine. It has a very strong pizz and arco sound.

Nice bass! But what's up with the bridge? Looks like you got a cowboy wearing high-water pants on top of your bass. :D
