Scales ARGH!

  1. :meh: i have been searching for scale charts for 4 string bass for hours but no luck, can anyone point me in the right direction?

    I found that the best way to learn "scale forms" is to create the charts yourself. I know that this is more work, but they will be more relevant.

    If you must find them online, do a google image search for "locrian". You'll find some charts. I know that you'll probably find guitar charts before you find bass charts, but that's okay. Just use the 4 lowest strings.

    A scale chart is a 'map' of the location of notes for a specific scale. Check Active Bass and look at the lower right, where the charts are available and you can even hear them played at different tempos.
