Wow, that is butt-ugly. Especially looking at the close-ups of the cromagnon finish work. I wouldn't spend 399 on it, let alone 699 (or more.) 0 bid city, baby.

Yikes! At least give the guy some credit for making a bass from scratch.

It also looks like it would be very neck dive prone. A 7 neck on a body with a bunch of chunks cut out of it.

that sums it up for me.

  9. Looks like someone in the middle of an epileptic seizure carved out those holes with a butter knife and then dropped it in some red stain.

I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the "customized" tuner.

Just sticking on an extra string will do that. :rollno:

Starting bid at $699.00 and still no bites.

Looks like he varnished the bloody thing with epoxy or something... :eyebrow:

EDIT - Although, saying that, we don't know for certain if it sounds as disgusting as it looks... Maybe someone should ask him for a sound clip? After all, you never know, punching huge holes in a bass and jamming an extra string on backwards may give a great tone! :D

  11. I give the guy a definite A+ for out of the box thinking. Running a 7th string backwards on a wide 6 neck tickles me no end. But the execution still needs executing.

The price should still read one decimal more to the left. ;)

  12. WOW!!! That finish is AWEFUL!!!

It looks like he's poured sticky, bloody honey all over it! YUK!

I dig the holes though...gives the drunks something to aim at when your giggin' at a bar. :D

  13. Retch!!!

    LOL!!!

  15. Looks like the guy never saw a bass and had to make it by someone discribing it down the telephone.

If it was a woman, It would be a lady of the night.

    I dubb thee Roxanne :D
