Hi again, I was just browsing through ebay, and I came across this.

    http://www.schecterguitars.com/spec.asp?id=106#

And I think I fell in love. Its probably the nicest looking basses I've ever seen.

My friend has a schecter guitar. And I love the quality from it, im just more conserned <<< Killed that word <<< about what kind of sound I can get from it. I need that mid range growl, it would be going through an SVT-CL and 810 so that could help with the growl.

So what do you guys think?

  2. I personally really dig those Schecter's. The Stilleto's were actually the first bass I ever fell in love with. The studio version is probably the best of the lot, but the Elite's are nice too. It has a painted neck, which is a bummer for me, but may not be a problem for you.

Here's the other thing. The older models had standard EMG's while the newer ones have the HZ version. I compared an older used model at GC to one of the newer ones, and the older EMG's got a lot more life to them.

That said, I really like those basses, and don't think you could go wrong. My opinion tho'
