    of a early fender 62 type era...

    Weight? I've been through at least 5 Schecters from this era and they all killed. I still have one very nice PJ left.............

    The weight on this one 9lbs...
    USA...I think they use to call these california customs or something like that.

    very underated bass.

    Ca customs are later models. These were made in Dallas in the 80's. Great pickups and they usually come with a push/pull for out of phase. I had a black one like this but it was much heavier hard ash. This looks like swamp ash at that weight.

    Not sure the previous posting is correct. If the early mid 80's Dallas basses are not handmade then which 80's Schecter's are? I have owned a bunch from this era and that was not my understanding (although my info could be wrong). If you have different info please post it so we all can learn.
