Hey, im a senior in high school, and for my graduation project im doing it all on bass. This Febuary i will have been playing nostop everyday for 2 years. I was wondering what it is about bass that makes other bassists prefer to play this instrument over a standard guitar. Looking forward to any and all feedback.

  2. There was just something about a bass and the kick locked together that just grabbed me and that the union was something special and in my eyes more special than any guitar riff I'd ever heard. It was magical and I wanted to be able to create that magic myself. 40+ years playing bass. and still rocking the bottom. Good luck with the project! RTS

I like Bass because of....well Bass
The deeper tone octave down from guitars just did it for me.
Besides the fact when i was in High School i had a pretty sweet 2x15 cabinet. When I tried out for bands at their parents house.
The mom would always come out screaming!
" Every dish in the kitchen is rattling can you turn that down!"
    one mom even said
" We never had the house rattle so much with the other bass players"

I would just stand there looking like this = :D
