How is this cab for pop and slap?

I know it must pump the lows!

I want a Shro but have an old WT800...that means without spending 500 more bucks to mod the head I have to run an 8ohm cab to utilize all the juice.

I have heard great things about these cabs.

I like the 1212 for slap/pop/tap....it took me a little bit to revise my settings from my 4x10 cab I was using....but I've found that the 12's provide a really thick punchy slap tone when dialed in. I always found my slap tone with the 4x10 to be punchy and clear but thin and bottomless, to my ear. The 1212 keeps the low end, and has that mid bump for some punch. And I have my tweeter on about half, which is plenty of hi end for the slap/tap bite that I like. The 1212 is definately more "round" sounding with the low-lowmid emphasis. But you could check out the 1210 as well, it may have more of the standard slap EQ with the 10" speaker....
