apparently the sch mini 12 w/o horn has not much in the way of mids & highs but lots of lows. if i used my fishman pro platinum bass eq could i drawout more of these frequencies? perhaps one cant drawout what isnt already there?

some may say just get the mini with horn, but the mini w/o horn is $150 cheaper and i am short on cash. i already have the fishman so i would prefer to utilize what i have if possible.

You could probably force more high end out of the cabinet but how would it sound?

Personally, I suggest that you find a way to buy the cabinet with the horn. It will probably be better suited to what you want (since lack of highs is a concern) and if you ever decide to use other cabinets, will probably have better resale value as it would have broader appeal on the secondary market.
