    Sometimes you get lucky.
Just scored a 1976 Jazz Bass.
Bass is all original, except finish.
    Rosewood fingerbord, blocks, nice neck.

    Paint is real bad.
Needs to be stripped, and refinished.
    also need new input jack.

Stored for the last 16 years.
Came with early 80's reissue tweed case.

    Now for the price, $240.00.
    Somebody likes me?

    Awesome find!

Sometimes it does feel like someone like us or the karmic wheel is spinning in our direction, doesn't it?

If the finish is non-original anyway, you should get it stripped and refinish it...there are a lot of good guys doing finish work these days!

Sounds like with a bit of work you'll have yourself a damn hot bass!

Nice score on your jazz. Do you know who you'll have refinish it? If you have any pickup issues, send me a PM. I just had two vintage jazz pickups rewound and they came out perfect.

Here is my super jazz score. I snagged this black '76 jazz on ebay a few months ago for around $900. It was in excellent condition. 100% original including case & covers, and it had the original receipt. I saw it being resold recently for over $2K (I traded it not too long ago). Here is a pic while we're waiting to see yours....

(btw, you don't need to lie and and tell us that you paid for it. Its not like we know where you buried the body so we won't call the police ;) )

    Pics on the way.
Just bought new computer, I mac, have not worked out how to
    send pics yet.
Paint was applied with a brush.
    Done quick, looks like s**t.

I bought bass from third owner.
Not a bass player, just wanted to get money back on his investment.
Payed $250.00 for bass 16 years ago.
I had $240.00 on me, he took it.

Once in a life time deal.
