Hey kids, I just got an SWR Baby Blue. I traded my Ampeg B100r for it at a local shop. Pretty good deal, eh? The other good news is that my Avatar cb112 came yesterday too. Together, they rock. I'll try to post a full review of both after I play with them a while. :D

It's just the head, so I guess that makes it the Electric Blue. It really sounded great with my Jazz V.

I always liked the Baby Blue combo amps. I wish I had the scratch to afford one. Nice score!

It depends of you "taste" of sound:
If you like "hi fi" sound, get a SWR
if you love in your face bass sound, go with ampeg.

i have an electric blue head that i've had for about 10 years - still love it
you can run 2 410's off it and get pretty decent volume for 150 watts
i've also run it into power amps with good success
only bummer is the lasck of bass and treble shelving controls
i have use a sans amp di in front of it and used the bass and treble on that, and it kinda fattens up the "sterile" swr sound
i use demeter and alembic pres with a stewqrt power amp now but i'd never sell my electric blue...
