I told myself that I would absolutely not sell this bass , but here I am having to sell it. Lord, car repairs suck. Alder Allparts body and maple all parts neck with Rosewood fingerboard, lovingly finished in aged nitrocellulose lacquer. This bass is everything that you could hope for in a Precision, Just an absolutely exemplary instrument. It has Lollar Pick ups, CTS pots, Reverse rotation fender tuners, Celluloid pickguard, And weighs about a comfy 8.5 to 9 pounds I think...I will put it on the scale when I get home. Feels super comfortable and like your favorite pair jeans! I will take some proper pictures once I get home, these will give you an idea though. $850 Shipped in a hardshell case to the continental USA {} {} {} {} {}
Very Nice!! When I read your reason for selling I felt sorry for you but when I saw the pics not so much Nice collection!!
*looking under couch cushions, rummaging through pants pockets in laundry basket, muttering to self* "there's got to be enough ... somewhere."
I did . I’ve built tons of instruments...was a gold level fender and platinum level Gibson tech when I was working in music stores . Finish has some orange peel that could probably buff out fine, I just never worried about it ...don’t even notice from 2 feet away
This has me squirming in my seat a little. Credit card is trying to get out I guess. Do you have a pic of the headstock?
Headstock is my logo, but it’s on top of the lacquer so it could be changed I suppose. If you wanted to. If you wanted to wipe my name off of it. Specs of the neck or below. They’re in one of the photos. Of course I rolled the edges so it’s very comfortable, just like an old vintage bass should be. Honestly, I’m not sure I can part with this thing. I freaking love this bass, but I also need a functioning car. I might put a couple other instruments up for sale and see what sells first. For now, I’ll keep this up I guess. Here are more pics, in the sunlight. Nothing has been done to these photos except for rotating them or cropping them. No other retouching. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
Thanks, nut width is 1 5/8 inches. The full neck specs are posted a couple of posts above this one if you’d like to check it out! Bass feels amazing.
