I am just at the other side of the green shade..
Yeah, me too actually. I thought about straightening it, but I read somewhere that it isn't good for the string to do hard bends at saddle or nut*, so I was hoping it would straighten naturally... but it hasn't.
*I don't know how valid this is.
In the actual sea:
My bike. Bianchi green celeste.
Well, if it doesn't present a problem staying in tune, then there's no real need to change it. But if it was mine, I'd press on the "bulge" a little bit to try and get it to go straight from the tuner peg to the nut. Then the only thing close to a hard bend would be at the tuner peg.
(There is a school of thought here that advocates setting witness points in the string at the bridge by pressing down the string and setting the angle in the string at the saddles. I tend to let strings just do their thing by themselves there. But if I had a string that was too strong or thick to bend naturally at the saddle, and it arced over the saddle rather than settling into it with its own angle, I'd help it a bit.)
Like this one?
Growing up in Italy in the 80s, it seemed all Bianchi bikes were celeste.
That’s the guy!
....that I referred to elsewhere as being unable to afford.
Italians aren’t afraid of loud colors for bikes, house paint, polo shirts....
THIS! x 1,000! I call it Snoozeburst
We are a loud people alright
Weird. I love a Bianchi in celeste, but would not consider a seafoam bass.
Will I be branded a heretic if I ask where sonic blue fits in? I’ve only seen pics online of it, and it doesn't look blue to me - looks more off white. Maybe call it mystic blue instead since only a mystic can detect blue in it. As for being color blind, since my eyesight was called in to question, I see blue and green really well. Red is my kryptonite, especially on a green background as it just disappears in to the green.
In the same tonal family but with more blue in the sound.
Queue Linda Ronstadt (easier on my eyes than the other performers) , “Am I Blue”
I've peed in a black toilet.
As one might expect, it was in a well-off musician's house in LA. (Name redacted...dude was super cool.)
Given your handle, I hope your aim was good.....
A pet peeve of mine is brown sunburst, I call it "turd-burst" So overdone and boring.
At least if it's in orange and red, like a heritage cherry, it's a little less common. The brighter colors with a nice bright white guard is a good look.
And never tort.
