Man, I remember hearing some of those songs on the radio when I was, shoot, 7 or 8?

This looks like a great album. Can anyone tell me any more about it?

BTW- Who plays bass on it?

Yeah I'm old :meh: My I saw that tour... in my mid 20's...

Seal is always vague in his liner notes. I know Pino was all over the second disk. I prefered the first with Wimbish on a lot of the tracks.

Seals new one is due in a few days!!! it's about time.

I think Tony Levin played on some of it.

he's not listed in the liner notes... 'Bring it on' sounds like it could be Doug, but he's not listed either. I'm pretty sure it's mostly Pino. I just gave it a fresh listen.

What made Seal sound so good was Trevor Horn!!

The production on Seal's 1st two albums is pretty stellar...

  9. Seal appeared in an Ovation ad posing with an ABG, also in the video for killer he was posing with a strange custom 8-string bass made with a tubular construction-
did he actually play bass on any recordings or was it all done by session guys?

    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
I remember the press at the time saying that the bass tracks were performed Wimbish and Pino, but they were cut and pasted all over the place. I was under the impression that pieces of both player's passes at the tunes were sometimes on the same song.

I think Wendy and Lisa, who were with Prince at one point, were key players on that record too.

I think he did tour with him for the album, however.

Unfortunately, I hear the sound of AutoTune all over his new single :(

The man can sing, why are they AutoTuning him...

I believe Jeff Beck did some guitar work on that album also.

Great CD btw, with some of the best bass tone ever recorded.
