1x Ibanez Sound Gear with Active pickups
    2x Spare string kit
    1x Softcover case
    1x Strap Locks
    1x Lead
    1x Strap
    1x Bass Basics Tape

R2500 = Around $415 - $315 (cant really say because its another currency)

    No amp is included

PS: I am in South Africa, so prices are probably slightly higher then in America etc.

I asked the owner but she doesnt know, is there anyway she can identify it?

Btw, I want to play punk music, is this any good for the genre?

I'm not an expert, but it looks a lot like the SR800 with Dimarzio cliploks...

But I say...don't jump at it because its nothing spectacular (pricewise anyways)

Looks like an SR400 to me - which I personally don't like, plus it's covered with all those horrible stickers. Usually sells used for around $200US.

    I'd say pass.

it might be best if I try and get advice from someone in South Africa, because they will know what i can get for the same price etc

is this a guitar that can be used to play punk?

Most punk bassists play Fender P or J basses.

If you have to ask this, you ain't a punk :smug:
  10. I think this is not a Sr400. They have 3 band Eq.

    it must not a sr400
now u can see the accu-cast b bridge(original accu-cast bridge, it appear on some hi-model only), and the pick-ups are active afr p/j. all sr400s used passive dlx p/j but a active preamp built-in.
and it's neck is deep bolt-on, none of sr400s has this neck.

    i think it's a sr800 of 1996

Ask for a better picture of the back of the headstock. Close up. They print the model number/type right above the serial number.
