    Dammit -

I had 2005 all planned out - just 2 more basses, both fretless and both custom, and that would be it - one to arrive in spring, one to arrive in summer. Right? Right!

But then I hadda open up a NAMM thread a couple weeks ago and find one of THESE staring at me.... Damn the torpedoes, I'm going in!

She arrived in my hot little hands 2 days ago. Woot! Aside from a rattling D-fundamental bridge saddle, it's flawless. And its being neck-thru makes it lighter in weight than my bolt-on 4, to boot!

Thanks Gard, thanks Dale! Now if only I had the cash for a better digital camera...

Holy crap Dave !!!!!!!!!!!!! I stared at that one for quite some time and spoke to Hans about it. I can't imagine what the thing costs. Heck, I can barely afford a Buzzard Bolt-on !!

You need to get that info over to Tim at Buzzardbass.com
He'll eat it up and probably post it on his site. Tell him Vinnie sent ya if you do !!

    Very very cool man.

Heh, well I'd better get some info and a couple photos to Tim before I sell my fretless 4 - Two Buzzards should do the trick ;)

Tell you what, I technically couldn't afford this one myself - but I paid off my Platinum card when I sold my house a month and a half ago, and it hasn't expired yet, and I haven't cut it up yet.... :ninja:

Thanks Gard - sorry you had to come visit during my "no money for pinball" timeframe... My house is usually hopping with silverball. Clue: that pinball machine is one of the rare "INcreasing in value over the years" machines, and cost the same as LIST price on that Buzzard 8.

Hey, you can still pull the frets out and make it a fretless, you know, to keep your 2005 plan on track. :eyebrow:
