Alright guys, the Au Pair is looking bassists around the area.
We formed a couple of months ago with Josh and Mark (ex - the Heuristic/Shallows and Flats). We're recording a demo this weekend and plan to get many shows ASAP!!!

Influences - Dillinger Escape Plan, Isis, Hella, Battles, Discordance Axis, Pig Destroyer, etc

We would love someone who can keep up, this stuff is fast, but thoughtful - knowledge of chords and **** would be cool, knowing music theory is a plus. As far as sound goes we're all influenced from different musicians. We're looking to be as brutal and tight as possible and are all serious about this.

My name is Nick, and I play guitar for Au Pair.

Thanks guys, hope to hear from somebody

well maybe its not that bad. but think about it. would it really be ok for every band that needed a bassist join TB and start a thread about it?

i can't play in another band right now, got too much going on(also probably too young, 16yrs). i'll put the word out though, you lookin' for someone in highschool?college? you should definately contact Berklee College of Music, they are always willing to help people find like minded musicians.
