How does it play
It's a " BASS GUITAR FENDER " listed for sale on craigslist.
You can almost see the squier behind it, where the new branding is.
"I'd buy that for a dollar!" ...and not much more...
The neck says fender, too. Totally legit.
That is awesome.
It's a Fender...
Says so right there.
Mad Sharpie skills yo.
Its legit. That bass is from late '99 when there was a supply problem with waterslide decals. As I recall, the supplier had issues with a software patch for Y2K. Fender didn't end up doing many of these, but they are out there.
Oh come on really. Im not buying that. Nope. Did CBS still own them at the time lol.
(Sigh) I remember my first Fenda...
You guys got me laughing now. Its been a rough day at work this has been just what i needed thx
I think that is a 3D printed headstock.
Dot matrix printer circa 1993.
.... and now I have GAS again!
That’s TOO LEGIT. Im surprised it doesn’t Legit*Fender P Bass*Legit.
Is that other guy serious? That they actually did this? There’s no way.
I like that they couldn’t be bothered with sanding down the entire headstock, or taking off the tuners to do it half decently. You can see all the decisions they made in half assing the fake logo, , even down to not using but one coarse grit of sandpaper, and Sharpie on top of a poorly prepared surface. It’s an absolute textbook of how not to redo a headstock.
A guy was selling one on kijiji classifieds up here in canada a while back but he used a soldering iron and burned it in. It was a bad job of trying to pass off an affinity as a fender. At least buy the waterslides from ebay. Do not condone those either.
Reminds me of the time I put a “George Brett” autograph on my baseball glove .
